Bad bunny sex virus hits computers
A 'bad bunny' worm that downloads a graphic picture of a man wearing a bunny suit is infecting computers, an IT security firm has warned.
The Badbunny-A worm attempts to display a JPEG of an 'indecent' image of the man performing a sexual act in woodland.
The IT security firm Sophos said it affects the open source office suite OpenOffice/StarBasic and targets Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
The worm infects computer when users open an OpenOffice Draw file called badbunny.odg. A piece of code within the file performs different functions depending on whether the user is running Windows, MacOS or Linux, including executing other self-replicating viruses.
The worm also downloads and displays an illicit image of a 'scantily clad' woman with a man dressed as a rabbit, irrespective of the operating system being used.
